Ottawa photos : I took these photos with my new Panasonic DMC-LX3 one day, just wandering around the Chateau Laurier, the locks and Parliament Hill on a beautiful spring day in late March. I shot in JPEG mode, and tried out the different aspect ratios available on this camera.

Still Life - Fruit : I took these photos with my new Tokina 100mm macro lens; the close-ups are with a 2x teleconverter added. The last image has made me rethink eating those strawberries; if you look closely at the seeds, there are tiny white bugs beside some of them! All of these were shot with natural light in late afternoon.

1000 Islands Parkway photos : I was driving home from Dive Tech in Mallorytown and decided to drive along the 1000 Islands Parkway. I had to stop and capture the fog on the water. We'd had torrential rains just an hour before this, but the sun had come out again and was quickly burning away the fog.
